My childhood address was 280 Loveless Street and the environment in which I was raised brought little love, security or comfort. Thus my physical address rang true for a childhood filled with emotional duress, fear, abuse, and loneliness. At 12 years of age a psychiatrist expressed to my mother that she was wasting her money and surely I was headed for a life of disaster. The good news is that hope can always find a way to the hopeless if there is someone like a loving grandmother I was introduced to.

After 13 very difficult years as a kid I was shipped off to a set of grandparents I had hardly known. It was here I came to understand the Bible story involving a God who loved me and a Jesus who had died for my salvation. It was here that I found the beginning of a new life. It was a life that slowly begun to give me a sense of love, security, and a hope for a better future. In my teens I sensed a divine call to help others experience a life changing relationship with God as well. This journey has been ongoing spanning a career of being a teacher, high school principal, and 9 time coach of the year with over 700 career wins and 35 championships. The journey is far from over. Over the past 7 years I’ve concentrated on helping plant or revitalize churches. Moving to Findlay, Ohio as Senior Pastor of StoneBridge Church, is one more step of faith in continuing to keep inspiring others to have a life changing relationship with God. If God can do it for me — He can do it for you!

• Born and raised: Born in Warren, Ohio and lived there until age 12. The remainder of my youth was spent in Morgantown, West Virginia.
• Siblings: 2 deceased older brothers, 3 sisters and 1 brother still living.
• Favorite thing to do as a kid: play cards with my older sister and sports.
• 1st Job: cleaning and mopping floors in a restaurant.

• Favorite food: Chinese or Mexican.
• School history: High School (1978) Warner Southern University (BA 1984) in Church Ministries, Florida Atlantic University (MA 2004) in Educational Leadership.
• Family: Married to my amazing and talented wife, Charlina. We have 4 wonderful children: Jennifer 27, Sean 23, Joshua 9 and Deaven 7. Oh the wonder, fun and suspense of having younger kids at our age.
• Hobbies: Riding my Harley Davidson Fat Boy on the open road, avid reader, the great outdoors (hunting, fishing, and camping).

• Favorite vacation spot: most any indoor/outdoor water park. Surprise me!
