I grew up in a Christian home, went to church every week, and have always understood what it means to live for Christ. When I reached my twenties I wanted to see more of the world, so when the opportunity presented itself I took a job that allowed me to travel throughout the United States. I disregarded what God had planned for me and did whatever I wanted. By the time I was 35 I had been to 44 states, had been married and divorced, filed bankruptcy, and was one small step away from living on the street. With the help of my marvelous sisters, my cousin and his family, and the prayers of many people I probably will never be able to thank enough or repay, I am finally back on track and living for God. I have a strong desire to serve God and always do his will no matter where in life that takes me. I take each day as a new page in life and try to live it as God would have me to. We all make mistakes but what makes the difference is when we get back up and push on towards our reward. Living for Christ to me is more than just going through a routine but actually living my life in a way that will show the world around me that with Christ within me I am a different, better person.
