Born and raised the son of a pastor, I grew up in church. I fell in love with the message and music of the church and at an early age accepted Christ’s gift of salvation. Being from a musical family I began performing at the age of four. Thirty-plus years later, I am still amazed at the power music has to encourage and uplift hearts.

Growing up, church and family remained an important part of my life. After high school, I attended BGSU studying music but my first love was still ministry. In 1994, after a few failed attempts, I formed a Southern Gospel band comprised of my family members. We traveled and ministered to the tri-state area for ten years. In that time, I had the opportunity to attend Cincinnati Bible College pursuing Biblical Studies.

Also in 1994, I met Holly in her own backyard at a friends birthday party. She has been a loving companion and faithful supporter through my journey of ministry from gospel music to a rock band, suit and ties to jeans and earrings, and ever changing hairstyles! With the addition of Bethany (8) and Emerson (3), our family is complete. Growing up serving in church and being the son of a pastor, I never imagined myself working in a church. However, God provided an opportunity to lead worship at Crossroads Church in Lima, OH. My time there revealed a new passion for church ministry, pursuing the heart of Christ to make disciples (Matt 28:19) and seek and save those who are lost (Luke 19:10). In May of 2011, our family visited Stonebridge for the first time. We fell in love with the vision and passion of SBC to impact Findlay. We are blessed to be a part of what God is doing here and we’re excited to see what God has in store!
